real tramatic time, San Fran is a surprisingly small city, only 600+ thousand so a lot of citizens died that day, and Jones was so totally wrapped up

in city politics, social services, I mean the guy really worked at making important people beholden to him.

I think the only reason a lot of political careers didn't get trashed was the murder of milk and the mayor the following week.
