He pled to a minor charge and got 1 year probation the other day.

as part of it, his side was entered into the court record; that he genuinely feared for his well-being becuase of Arenas.
If he's lying about that, it's perjury.
His court situation is resolved as far as I know and those 'facts' don't jive with the version you're speaking about.
