All he's doing is dropping the concept as untenable and that he wants a law guaranteeing that there won't be any discrimination.

In other words, take gay out of the equation,a soldier is a soldiers, regardless of their faith, ethnicity, sex, and orientation. This is one of the things on my list I've been waiting for.
