This is my basic complaint about Apple. It's like a hidden trap in shiny package.

I get the upside of packaging all the content and shininess. It makes perfect sense. But there's an arrogance about it and they don't seem to give a rats ass about their consumers. The continued lack of backwards compatibility on simple things like the chargers for the ipods is beyond infuriating.
