I've moved of late to a smidgen less milk, half a spoon of sugar, and leaving the tea bag in the cup while I drink it.

That's the thing though isn't it. You could be in a rush making the quick cup and when you take a sip of its brilliance you're left saying to yourself

I find the sugar actually competes with the flavour of the tea rather than enhance it.
