Question for the Tivo experts.

We have DirecTv right now, which we like, the problem is that we only have one line in to each of the rooms we have a tv in (adding a second line would require them putting a hole in the side of the house which the owners won't allow) which means if we're recording a show we either have to watch what's being recorded or watch something else we've previously recorded. This sucks.

Will adding/connecting a tivo to our Directv dvr allow us to watch a show through our Directv receiver while recording one on the tivo?

Second question: we have one receiver (no dvr) in our upstairs "bonus" room which rarely gets used. Is there any way to set up a tivo on that tv and then playing them back on another tv?

Someone tell me that there's a way to get around only having one line in! Thanks.

If you have a wireless modem for your internet stuff and you have a video card with tv reception and recording on one of your PCs, you can easily make - El Ni�o Feb 6, 12:44

- Sure it does. Our first box (which is still working fine 6 years later) is an actually branded Tivo. The 2nd box is a DirecTV dvr. Both of them are - El Ni�o Feb 6, 13:31
