dual headed. We can record or watch and record something else on both. So, we can do a total of 4 different things at once. When we got the tivo, we got it on special where we paid $50 for the tivo, then sent in the r eceipt and got our $50 back. We got free installion and a quickie lesson on hot to operate it. When we decided we wanted a dvr in the bedroom (we already had a regular box installed) I just called one day and asked, "you're doing all this stuff to get new customers, what can you do for me." She offered a few things I wasn't interested in, then offered me a dual head dvr with free install and no extra charge for either box, never ever, again. Yes, they have to drill a tiny hole, but they had to do that in the first install. Is your landlord aware that the hold is actually less than 1/2 inch wide?
