Sure, but there is also Rabinovitz, Rabinowicz, Rabinovich etc, all spelled according to whether it's Polish, German, Russian etc

These are names are all spelt the same way in Yiddish - which uses the Hebrew alphabet. But the Polish spelling of the name is different to the German spelling is different to the Russian (transliterated into the Roman alphabet) etc
