Some of the plates are worth money, but they're rare or unusual.

There were some plates made by a Finnish company with images from the Kalevala on stoneware. They were one of the more expensive ones. But they were a very limited edition and they were in style that had a lot of cross over appeal (mid century modern style). Basically they didn't look like collectible plates.
