No, if the e-book costs less to make then my cost should be less than the hard copy.

I can't see myself with an e-reader anyway. I enjoy the physical weight of a book and the feel of the pages. I like to see my bookmark sticking out of the top, letting me know how much I've read and how much more I have to finish. If the book is really good that same bookmark tells me the book is ending way too soon. I can't see an e-book doing the same.
Besides, I'd be afraid I'd drop the reader in the toilet. It's cheaper to replace a book than a reader. Mind you, I've never dropped a book in the toilet but still...
