no duck is different, google recipes, american test kitchen as some excellent discussion

they suggest baking the breast separate from the legs and explain why

the best part of cooking a duck is the fat which you can save and make home fries for months after, delicious.

but they recommend you bake the breast adn then use the fat to 'comfy' the legs
