Sure, I know many Joanne Roses. It'll be a busy day for me now, checking on whether they are all fine...

Jokes aside, you seem to have some unresolved issues, and you can't get them through to those of you that matter, because there's always some other stuff being debated lively among them?
Also, you envision a life of luxury, state of the art, but somehow it eludes you (you use the staircase not the opulent lobby, and the gleaming office towers get covered in a haze, and even trying to capture them on camera, you slip)
Btw, I'm just an amateur when it comes to dreams, but female friends often tell me their dreams, because they seem to think my interpretations make sense. Dreams are all about sorting out unresolved issues and/or notions that don't make sense/fit in, aren't they?
You may feel you are comfortable but want some change. You're here and there - suddenly your friend is younger, which harkens back to a time (at 10 years old) when life was uncomplicated and naive, and everything was open and undecided. Now you're kind of stuck in a rut and wish things were different, but you somehow deny yourself what is needed to break out and live the life you unconsciously dream about, and also, you can't find a way of communicating this to those who could open doors for you. The unknown person dying is a reminder that life is finite.
This, or it was all just the brain sorting out impressions of various TV-series you've seen lately, or books you've read.. :-)
