What other choice did she have?

She couldn't ally with Marcus/Corinne/Charlie and co because she'd always be marginalised. They have no respect for her at all.

She was initially allied with Ace but that was leading to a dead end so she bailed. I don't think she has a firm alliance with anyone. Ken and Crystal run their group, and she has good contacts with Bob and Matty, so she's in a good position to shake things up again later.
