It also makes me feel less certain that Bullock will snub Streep for this one.. But The Blind Side has to win for something, right? Considering what a big surprise success it was, and the religious theme (white guilt) etc. Seems very politically correct to give it more than just the nod.. ?

I also wonder how much social standing factors in as to who receives Oscars, and how Bullock's standing is
