A very stressful work environment. She's very emotionally sensitive, and there are so many bad tempers, conflicts etc plus high stress level in that

line of work. It takes thick-skinned people to work there, or people who yet sensitive nevertheless have coping strategies in order to not attach much weight to misunderstandings and how colleagues are towards them at any time.
The previous job she was rejected for was as hotel receptionist. That was in my view at the very edge of what she can deal with, but I just have the impression that cabin crew is at least twice as demanding as that. I may be wrong, of course - have never worked as such...
