4 years is a LONG time for a relationship in their mid-30s, of course she's looking to take it to the next level. It's not like they're 3 years out of college and still looking to get on their feet and established.

Also, his wanting another year or two of being single is bull. He's been in a relationship for 4 years, he hasn't been "single" for a long, long time.
