asking because, gasp, I may actually see it this weekend.

one of my brothers called to see if I want to go with him (and maybe nieceling home for the weekend); and he seemed down on the 3D.

iirc, y'all said it didn't really need imax, right?

(don't hurt me, please. at least I'm not asking if it can wait for dvd at home. ;) -)

There is absolutely no reason to go see Avatar in 2D. I don't actually recommend IMAX myself. - Qale Feb 12, 21:25 3
