Evan Lysacek won't attempt a quad "fearing reinjuring his foot". He won Worlds last year without a quad and competed then with a stress fracture.
Tanith Belbin and Johnny Weir are sharing a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom suite at the Olympic Village. (They're longtime friends. He had even offered to marry her years ago when getting her US Citizenship was in danger ahead of the Turin Olympics.)
Weir has been "threatened" by anti-fur groups so he has chosen to stay in Olympic Village because security is tighter than anything he could arrange to accompany him at a hotel.
