regarding your IM, one country sent a 51 year old skier. (Mexico). And he's possibly a medal contender. (no heart attacks, though)

Myself, I'd love to do biathlon.
Although, personally, I'd rather invent Downhill Biathlon. :D Not the hugest fan of cross-country skiing.
(If I was going to do Biathlon the way that seems most logical to me, it would be with snowshoes and rifles.)
