It was very loud outside already from high winds and things, like tree branches, blowing around everywhere. I could barely sleep. But suddenly I heard something really loud so I forced myself out of bed and looked out the window.
I didn't have my contacts in, but eye saw a fire. It looked right where a tree was so I thought it was that, and then it when *boom* and turned into a fireball. I had my phone out and was just about to dial 911 when a firetruck came down the street.
After that I put on my contacts and laid on the couch for the rest of the night, until the little one woke up a couple hours later. It wasn't until daybreak, when it was still snowing, that I realized it wasn't actually a tree.
