Roger More: The instructions on the bag said to do the rice-in-olive-oil thing, so i did that (it really wanted to stick to the pan, though. Very dry) -- nm

Cool. Or stops the rice from clinging together. There's also some chemistry thing with frying the rice bit I forget the details -- nm
