Anthem has put those CA 39% premium hikes on hold until regulators review the filing.

So now, I have two questions:

1) Those are some pretty weird regulators, if they couldn't regulate this stuff before it went into effect; and

2) CA passed a law in 2006 that required insurers to pay a whopping 70 cents on the dollar on medical costs? Way to really put some teeth in your laws, California.
