I know that, but I think it's kind of BS that he's judged based on his practice runs, not on his actual run.

But only because that was the move he did in practice. He did a textbook back flip during his run.

no, he didn't. the jump he did in the run was he was supposed to grab his skis. a basic flip is way too easy for an olympic jump -- nm
