He's only "supposed" to grab his skis because that is what he did in practice. There is no rule he has to grab his skis.

no, he didn't. the jump he did in the run was he was supposed to grab his skis. a basic flip is way too easy for an olympic jump -- nm - Andie Feb 15, 10:01
