I enjoyed it up to the ending.

It's similar in feel to The Mist, in that people of different backgrounds are trapped together. I like how King writes. Could it have been shorter? Probably. But I really felt I got my moneys worth ($9 Amazon pre-order). The ending felt rushed, like his editor was saying, "Stevie, finish it already!"
