And she sounds like she is still drinking like most 24 year olds, aka hard and with focus. So no, he shouldn't stay in the house and never hang out with people who are drinking, but she needs to determine the difference between going out and having a couple, which shouldn't bother him in the slightest, or going out and *drinking*.
