she has to clarify for herself if his non-drinking is the problem, or the non-socializing. because that's determines whose issue this is.

if she just doesn't like drinking and him not, that is HER problem. peer pressuring him is ridiculous. drinking is not something someone HAS to do.
if the problem is, she wants a social lifestyle, and lots of friends, and wants him to be part of that part of her life, and he really is just a couch potato who won't make an effort to find at least SOME things they can both enjoy, then that's HIS problem.
