Are we convinced that it's not too early to just acknowledge he's likely a bad president?

I ask only half jokingly. He's wasted political capital, he's allowed his keystone legislation to wallow, on foreign policy, it's very hit or miss.

Even if we concede that the stimulus had some success in job loss reduction - and like ML, I'm not at all convinced that you can make a solid argument for that - his package was mostly an extension of what was already being done and some of the truly "Obama" portions of it (think Cash for Clunkers) didn't work at all.

No one wants to get too far out in front of the race, but what convinces us that he might still figure this out and "get it"?
