Not arguing, just curious -- What reference do you have that the country wants DADT touched?

My opinion is that the country is largely ambivalent about it. I think it is something that if they are surveyed about it they would express the opinion that it doesn't make sense and should be repealed. But I think that without a survey-taker posing the question, the population at large doesn't give it much thought.
