maybe the answer is, he doesn't *have* to, but if he wants to be at the top again and make endorsement money, he probably does.

because he's not entitled to those things. i understand why someone would do it. i don't necessarily understand those who seem so personally invested in "well, that apology didn't really speak to my inner heart and make me feel like he hugged me so fuck him".
