In this case I don't think it's about us feeling entitled. But we are entitled to think he's a dick because of his behavior. If he doesn't want to

be viewed that way; wants people to cheer for him and buy his products, then he has to act in a way that makes him seem like less of a dick. He wants a relationship with the public that is positive for him financially and I'm sure personally (it's more fun to be loved then hated) so if he wants that it's up to him to make amends.
