Yeah, well, it *is* a crazy ivan, it's not supposed to work often.

I guess the problem with the theory is that since Hockey in general is so low scoring that it's rare for there be enough opportunities for the inefficiency to be tried. 99.9% of the time, there is far greater risk to pulling the goalie.
*but* it still seems like in a 6-0 game in the first period, a crazy ivan might be a decent gimmick to try and change things up.
