The visual clues that are layered in, point to the ending in the first 5 minutes, after 15 minutes, it's very obvious, but you keep hoping it's not, and that Scorsese wouldn't do that (or that he has a twist up his sleeve).

Disappointed, but I bet if I saw it a second time, I'd appreciate it a bit more, as it's made to be seen twice (or more).

Just anyone who's read a lot or seen a bunch of those type of movies are going to figure it out, too quickly.
