Depends on what you mean by "observe" but yes, it is a Christian event so it would be recognized by all Christian faiths -- nm

- yep and for Orthodox Christians too (although the Orthodox calendar usually doesn't have GF the same week as the Julian calendar) - zork Mar 1, 09:20 1
