You know how bad you gotta be to have Abe Pollin tell you that you're fired?
Jordan accomplished it after his 2nd comeback; Abe told him thanks but no thanks, he'd done enough damage to the young guys on the team and no, he really didn't need his help with personnel.
Jordan's the greatest player ever, but as far as a GM/pseudo-owner, he's done nothing to think he's important yet. And his general temperament isn't condusive to building up people, even now his employees.
