I think I had this issue when I was trying to forward my BartramRelay.com address. I think I had to do a ctrl+F5 and it resolved. -- nm

I doubt Godaddy is the company that provides your personal internet. But if their DNS servers have a super-long TTL, it could totally explain it.

yeah - I'd say stick to using the working version for the time being, and ignore the broken one for a few hours, and it might be enough to fix it.
