I doubt Godaddy is the company that provides your personal internet. But if their DNS servers have a super-long TTL, it could totally explain it.

TTL, if I recall correctly, tells the caching software how long to wait before considering the data "invalid"; most servers these days use 3600 seconds (one hour), and this is set by the host of the DNS for the domain. Sometimes, those hosts go with the old default of 24 to 48 hours.

The one I mentioned, your ISP's caching (be it Comcast or TW or whoever), could also be complicating things.
