I get the premise of the Buble bit (all the campy stereotypical Canadian stuff, paraded out for the world to laugh at...)

But it just helped revive all these stereotypes we worked so hard to stifle. I can bet you that Canadians "got it" while the rest of the world was wondering "Is this for real or satire?"
