Which is easier to make yourself - a decent beer, or decent wine?

There's a brew-it-yourself place in town, and I really want to try something - but I want to start off doing something that's (hopefully) hard to screw up.

good wine is toughter imo. that might be because during my youth I drank some really, really bad beers so the worst I would say is "it's not the worst - dogbert Mar 1, 20:14
