Phil Sheridan (Philly Inquirer) said "The snow [at the Olympics] isn't the only thing that's white." I disagree.

From the captain of the Team Canada hockey team, to Shani Davis to U.S. women bobsledders, I saw plenty of black (can't say African-Americans since they're not all American) faces. To say nothing of the countless Chinese (figure skating, snowboarding, short track speed skating), South Korean (short track speed skating) and Japanese (figure skating, short track speed skating) faces. Two of the U.S. stars of the Olympics - Davis and Apolo Ohno - aren't white.

Sheridan qualifies his comments with comments about the Chinese, Japanese, Koreas and Shani Davis. His remarks were akin to "Everyone was white, except for all those who weren't."
