There's another reason why the Ravens, and other final 8 teams, might not work. The rule is unclear on trading for players. It could be that they could trade for him, but not be able to sign him to a deal. I doubt those teams would be interested in such a trade. And the final four teams might not be able to trade for him at all.
As for his actions that lead to Williams being murdered, I had heard quite a bit of it before.
