I think a lot of it is promos for his return, coupled with popular Olympic athletes (Vonn, White). He also had Palin last night.
Tonight should be good for him as well. Jersey Shore cast and Ohno. With Favre tomorrow. It says something when his worst night for guests all week is Friday, and he has Morgan Freeman on that night.
I expect his ratings to drop after a bit. But he was ahead of Dave before, so I wouldn't be that surprised if he stayed ahead of him.
