me, half joking: "Luck? What do you need luck for?"
her: "Oh, you heard that? You weren't supposed to hear that."

Yikes.

(It did take her two tries before she got it right. Ah well.)

On the plus side, I am no longer freaking out about today's incident. Everything looks to be as it should. So, that's a relief.
