first of all, don't try to blame the other woman. secondly, i think she does have a right to see the emails

normally, i don't think couples should have open access to everything in each other's lives. not because there are secrets but because people are individuals and should respect each other.
however, he threw her respect out the window by betraying her. if he has asked her what can be done, and this is what she needs, then she should ask.
however, buyer beware: she may not like what she sees.
