Ok..well..actually that's partially an excuse for a minor rant on an observed evolution in ST from the early TT to mid TT days. WTF happened to our attention span? Warped by text messages, twitter, status updates and the like? Before there was five paragraph David (well maybe the same time), there used to be equivalent of columns posted to TT or the Money prior to that. But I guess it doesn't really matter cause you quit reading 3 sentences ago so I can say pretty much any damn thing I want at this point. ;-)
Ah but I do have a question as perhaps an example that the crazies aren't limited to Boston and perhaps have been lurking right here all this time.
Anyway....hubby has slimy agent's work contact information, phone/email as this info was semi-drunkenly programmed into his phone by wife at the same dinner with the two hot twenty somethings at the adjacent table.
So should hubby attempt contact? More than reasonable chance that any communication would be just ignored.
Delete the information?
Hubby would like to meet slimy agent primarily to thank him.
Wife wanted to send flowers but that's generally thought to be a bad idea as that will probably freak out slimy agent. Oh send flowers as thanks for bringing hubby and wife to as being close to each other in a long time if not perhaps as close as generally healthy possible. Not send flowers as prelude to boiling bunnies or anything like that
Oh....and as long and unread the original posting was....the content of drunk emails was left out. The drunken emails sent by wife started to approach tRU's crazy woman's level crazy. I hate you and never talk to me again. Why won't you call back. Here in the same city and yet you ignore me. I'm done with you. Tell me where to meet you. And on and on and on and on. Hubby has semi-jokingly suggested that wife's phone has a drink limit in the future. (Hubby likes drunk wife, just maybe the combo of wife and phone, not so good) Also why hubby gave slimy agent props for calling after everybody got back to respective homes after vacation. Though that was hopefully in response to wife's non-drunk apologies emails which were sane in content and quantity.
Oh, I guess the Boston Love Letters tend to have a proposed plan of action that is left up for comment.
Hubby really does want to meet slimy agent on a cordial man to man basis at some point but is thinking that right now is way too soon. There are a remarkable amount of commonalities between the two and there really are thanks to be given.
