to wait for, etc in Canada, and on the other hand there are movies like Sicko that highlight Americans who can't get healthcare they can afford in the States, so they cross the border and get it done in Canada.

A lot of people seem to believe that one of these is true, but not the other, but when they talk about it it's all anecdotes, not statistics.
