He is what he is. If you're looking to him for hard hitting questions, you're looking at the wrong person.

It's like asking Joe Morgan about Wins Above Replacement. I'd trust Little Joe answering about how to best turn a double play, but asking him questions out of his wheelhouse is just picking on the weak kid in class.
In terms of reporting baseball stories from a human perspective, Gammons is still one of the best.
