I'll take that bet on 2 years. What are they going to add besides power?

That's the problem, there isn't anything to add [yet].
Motion, been done by Wii & PS3. Stereoscopic 3D, PS3 can already do it [with an update to firmware]. Motion without a controller, PS3 can already do it with the Eye camera @ 60 frames per second.
What are Xbox & Wii going to value-add to their next-gen that isn't already done? Holographics? More power is the only logical value they can add and you really don't sell game consoles on that factor alone.
At some point in every technology platforms cycle, established does become better.
