Did the fuse stop burning because of Jack...or because of Richard?

Jack is confused about his name being on that dial. That's a list of the candidates. How many names were scratched off? A lot!

Only 6 remain. 5 of them are not the one. Jack was taking a pretty big risk with his 17% chance of being the one.
