I can't believe it, but apparently my cat Samwise has learned to use blankets just like humans do

Samwise likes to sleep on top of the covers, on his back, stretched out full length, pressed up against my legs.
We like it cold at night so we turn the heat down, and it got real cold last night. Trish had an extra throw blanket on top her last night. She says Sam got up in between us, laid on his back, stretched out. He then extended his paw, put out one claw, hooked her blanket and pulled it over him until it covered everything but his head.
He is much smarter than our other cat. He knows how doors work and he'll stretch up to try to use the doorknob. Its funny to watch him get frustrated not being able to grip them.
